Update: Nexigo has pushed an update to the Nexigo PJ40 Gen2 that enables the Gamma correction menu! Great news for anyone who already has one.

I need a projector that can play at an angle because my room is not set up to have it directly in front of the wall I want to project on. Will the nexigo PJ40 accommodate being projected off center?

  7. @jr3anime on November 13, 2024 at 12:38 pm

so are you saying there is no way to focus the nexigo at all?

  8. @rajendrakumar9979 on November 13, 2024 at 12:38 pm

Hi! Now, as the price of Dangbei Neo has come down to below that of the Nexigo PJ40 3rd Gen, can I buy Dangbei Neo instead of Nexigo PJ40 3rd Gen. Awaiting your valuable advice, please.

    Hi, I have 2 questions :
    1) do you know if the Xming V1 automaticaly turn on when the projector is connected to the main (without using remote control) ?
    2) do you know if it can automaticaly switch to hmdi when the product is turn on ?
If I connected to the main it can switch to turn on and switch to hdmi without using the remote control ?
    Thanks a lot !

Why are there a lot of reviews saying the happrun yg491 projector overheats ? Any problems with it after months of use?

  19. @Bryan-eg7si on November 13, 2024 at 12:52 pm

Could you do a series for best projectors for rooms with ambient light.
I would like to have a projector in my bedroom but I dont want it to be too dark as it is straining on the eyes

  20. @snoopyD._lord on November 13, 2024 at 12:53 pm

You save me from buying a bad projektor thanks man

  21. @osdias on November 13, 2024 at 12:53 pm

What was the movie used to test these projectors? I can’t find it in the description and usually it’s good manners to give credit to content you use.

  22. @jaygranttaylor on November 13, 2024 at 12:54 pm

Bought the Casiris Omnistar L80 based on your review and I am so impressed with how good the image is for the price.

I had a Nexigo PJ20 for a few days but returned it due to some quality issues. The Omnistar seems a big step up for a bit extra money – much better software, features and build quality.

Thanks so much for such a thorough comparison of all these projectors. Amazon is an absolute minefield without people like you!

  23. @sebamodo on November 13, 2024 at 12:54 pm

Hi again, due to restrictions in my country, I can’t spend more than $200 on the purchase. That’s why I’m asking you which of the following would you buy: Groview JQ818C for US$189 or the Nexigo JP40 gen3 (Amazon renewed) for US$199.99. Thank for all!

  24. @motodannadventures on November 13, 2024 at 12:55 pm

I’m stuck between the pj40 gen 3 and the jimveo e30. Have you tested the jimveo e30?

  25. @miladna7 on November 13, 2024 at 12:56 pm

u saved me man. it was such a amazing review. i was about to buy the TT model but now seeing this, no, not any more.

  26. @kevin071997 on November 13, 2024 at 12:57 pm

A minute in.. and i know you are legit.. thank you for the comparisons

  27. @Kanoog on November 13, 2024 at 1:01 pm

THANK YOU! I’m finally getting my own apartment with NO roommates, and I’m excited to turn my living room into a home theater, with such a saturated market I was sooooo lost on the right choice. But this video helped me. For that reason BIG thanks πŸ™‚

  28. @santi8751 on November 13, 2024 at 1:05 pm

    Pj40 gen 3 vs pj30 ultra!!

  29. @PrimalShutter on November 13, 2024 at 1:08 pm

Damn this format of comparing side by side is the best I’ve seen
Do these projectors with a greenish cast allow you to color calibrate? I’m assuming the all use a similar open source OS just with their brand name
Some of those seem to be baking sharpness

  30. @KungFuKeni on November 13, 2024 at 1:09 pm

Hi Im confused about the pricing of these projectors. Quite literally every projector listed here is at least twice the displayed price at the start. Is this because you iddnt include shipping or vat? Or have all projectors gone up in price recently?

  31. @FPLCITS on November 13, 2024 at 1:11 pm

Hi, would you buy the Nexigo PJ 40 or Aurzen Boom 3?
    Thanks

  32. @GeorgeWPush on November 13, 2024 at 1:12 pm

You give different input lag measurements in every video of the JQ818C– 22ms, 27.1ms, and 34.6ms. Which is the true reading?

  33. @SpartaBobsky on November 13, 2024 at 1:15 pm

    Thank you !

  34. @iamthenra1968 on November 13, 2024 at 1:16 pm

  35. @Alex-mr5xx on November 13, 2024 at 1:17 pm

Thank you ao much for the excellet reviews, in Europe the Paris Rhone 4K seems to not be available – can you recommend a similar and liked projector in that range (or up to 900€) ?

  36. @itsthereal_dyl on November 13, 2024 at 1:17 pm

Just scored the NexiGo PJ40 Gen3 for under $200 on Amazon. Can’t wait to test it out. Thanks for the detailed review which helped me pull the trigger!

  37. @youplaymenot on November 13, 2024 at 1:18 pm

Great review. Would love to see an update with the Wimius K9, Aurzen Boom 3 and the Yaber V12. All in this price range.

    I’m living in south korea.
Recently LG is dumping PF610P, which is 649$ in amazon, in 379900οΏ¦,equivalent to 274$. Reviewers say this one is quite good, but they are all sponsored. Should I buy pf610p? or buy recommended one in this video?

  46. @capawilli1 on November 13, 2024 at 1:25 pm

    Man you rock

  47. @rudramahadev22 on November 13, 2024 at 1:27 pm

I like details and unlike you most reviewers only talk about specs and naked eye experience nothing more, thanks for giving the true data and pointers in each category

  49. @ishmadrad on November 13, 2024 at 1:28 pm

I see there’s a new Xgimi Elfin, called "flip". Apparently it’s a lower quality product, probably they are trying to catch the people searching for "Elfin" projector.

  50. @justinroberts7420 on November 13, 2024 at 1:29 pm

Just got the pj40 gen 3 setting say has the latest update but has no gamma adjustment should I return it and is the Casaris omnistar L80 still better than the gen 3 pj40 with gamma adjustment I may have gotten a older bad unit. Should I go with the casaris or try a pf40 again
