I would avoid buying Sony earphones. I’ve owned 2 pairs, and both ended up with a fault in less than 2 years of purchase. It is a common issue, and Sony isn’t addressing it correctly, you can find many posts on the net about it.
Sorry, I don’t agree, to me the AirPod is the best!
Sennheiser momentum 3 are not stable. They stopped working 2 times in less than 2 years for me. Apart from that, they are very expensive regarding their outcome. I regret buying them.

I’m NOT spending over $60 for a set of earbuds anymore! Why? The Battery.
You talk about " they will last a long time", sure..but when the battery is gone (AKA-will not charge) inside the buds, all these overpriced earbuds, you will end up throwing them away!!!
These company’s are making a killing off us "customers", but will not implement a battery replacement.
Most earbuds, if used everyday, will last maybe 1.2- 1.5 years, then they are done! Why are these company’s not giving us the option for the consumer to charge to only 80-85%, which will help make the battery’s last another year.
For anything over $200, the battery needs to be user replaceable, and maximum charging ceiling also needs to be flexible . This crap has gone on to long, and it should be a major feature of expensive ear buds. They can throw all the features they want at me, but in the end, I will end up having to buy another set of $250 earbuds in just a little over a year. F–that!!!

I highly recommend the Donner Do bud one when they go on sale for $25 but even at 50 they are awesome once EQd very powerful bass and I thought o helicopter was flying past me overhead I swore it was real but it was the earbuds that fooled me after rewinding video, you have to EQ them to make them shine but the app works and it’s easy

3:33 I have that. I used to for a couple of months then the battery started failing.. now I can use it for a few mins then I gotta charge the whole case again to use it. Honestly a waste of money on the linkbuds.
I’ve had my AirPods for 7 years with no issues other than the battery doesn’t last as long. The other day, I lost one possibly in my SUV or somewhere; it’s time for new ones, but I’m so undecided.

Would be great to hear about playback controls. Some amazing earbuds could be ruined by one tap control meaning you can’t touch it without activating or changing anything.

So funny, I use the Apple Airpods pro for years with an Android and my call quality was always horrible. No one could even understand if I was talking, they only heard the background noise suuuper loud. Never could get this to work and now after 3 years they start making super loud cracking noises when I touch or move them and one is not even loading anymore. Will switch to Bose I guess.

I’m looking for new earbuds after using my Sony XM3 for about 5 years. I still love it, but I ruined something when replacing the batteries. The connection isn’t great anymore. After researching new earbuds, I think I’ll hold onto mine for now. I’m afraid that I will be disappointed with the new ones.

Idk if it’s a one off but my Sony link buds have absolutely no battery life left after a year. They die after 30 minutes
my liberty 4 nc’s broke after 3 weeks. left earbud just stopped working out of nowhere and no fixes from anker were helpful. Look online, a lot of others have the same issue. I’m going to try to the galaxy fe – anyone know if the anc on the galaxy fe is as good as the liberty 4 nc’s? thanks

Soundcore P30i is the best earbuds you can buy for under 40 dollars and the noise cancellation is phenomenal. Also the online app is very useful , never buying AirPods again

How do the Sony WF-1000XM5 fair for durability? I used the WF-1000XM4 for around 7 months until one of the speakers decided to blow on them. As much as I didn’t like the discomfort of wearing them for long periods of time and the awful customer service, I really liked the sound quality and noise cancellation/amplification due to wearing them while I work as a mechanic.
