Not a good idea i haven’t heard of reliable one rather have a normal 20 w solar panel and charge control and small inverter preferably pure sinewave to change your gadgets leave your panel outside in the sun you and your gadgets inside

  2. @farfromirrational948 on November 13, 2024 at 12:34 pm

    So basically…they are weak af

  3. @IAmSpartacustwo on November 13, 2024 at 12:34 pm

They’re a neat idea but all of the brands I’ve tried had at least one battery cell start to swell up and deform the case within 6 months.

  4. @lafayettehighball106 on November 13, 2024 at 12:39 pm

Did you put them in the shade? Ive had one get over a 1/4 charge after less than half a day. Something isnt right in your test.

  5. @Schwab.travis on November 13, 2024 at 12:40 pm

    FTA

  6. @daddylovebibi on November 13, 2024 at 12:40 pm

    Is it available in eBay?

  7. @speedy01247 on November 13, 2024 at 12:41 pm

Remember if you are in an emergency even 3% could be the difference between a phone call going through or not.

  8. @superdannyj on November 13, 2024 at 12:44 pm

i heard a 400watt panel is about £75 wholesale price these days … obvs need inverters too but thats interesting right

  9. @DuudSimon on November 13, 2024 at 12:45 pm

remember the discharge rate plays a factor. they usually use a low discharge rate to get to those numbers.

  10. @BryanCZ on November 13, 2024 at 12:46 pm

I can’t even find the anker power bank anywhere..

  11. @fawadnaseer3890 on November 13, 2024 at 12:50 pm

Problem is this test your phone to charge what show fast charge solar power pank two charge port not good for phone charge

  12. @jasmijnariel on November 13, 2024 at 12:51 pm

I had a 4pieces foldable solar panel (not powerbank) It was useless. You need to wait 2days to charge a phone

  13. @harrison00xXx on November 13, 2024 at 12:52 pm

I expected nothing more than your results showed

  14. @tardeliesmagic on November 13, 2024 at 12:53 pm

BEWARE! I got a CXL Portable Charger Power Bank solar charge 25000mAh on amazon, i’m from the UK & it never charged even in full sun light for 7 days solid & never even went up ONE bar.

  15. @raynerzed on November 13, 2024 at 12:55 pm

That was seriously disappointing for all these models 😂

  16. @arthurtorricer4544 on November 13, 2024 at 12:56 pm

so what is the brand of that last best solar unit at the end of your video

  17. @adamaref9047 on November 13, 2024 at 12:59 pm

Lol the best did less than a single 18650 cell with 2 days of charging? so they are basically useless then. Just buy a larger capacity power bank and forget about the solar panels.

  18. @1891jesse on November 13, 2024 at 12:59 pm

lol I have that first one. solar is a joke on it.

  19. @Raubgraeber on November 13, 2024 at 1:01 pm

We are only interested in the solar power, how it can be used to quickly charge the battery. Nothing more

  20. @hiddensquid335 on November 13, 2024 at 1:02 pm

I don’t understand as I’m ignorant to electricity. Does that mean it’ll charge 8 watts over the course of an hour?
    Thank you for any responses

  21. @bluesky696 on November 13, 2024 at 1:04 pm

In a survival situation this is handy but not necessary for a everyday use

  22. @LordHolley on November 13, 2024 at 1:04 pm

I’m surprised by how little power you’re collecting. If I leave my small power bank outside, it’s full in half the day. It will charge my phone several times. I wonder if it’s because I’m in Phoenix, where the sun rages supreme, lol.

  23. @justaguydoingguythings2762 on November 13, 2024 at 1:05 pm

The four patriots is trash. In the full direction sun they take up to and over 40 hours of direct sun to charge.

  24. @parkerazz4385 on November 13, 2024 at 1:05 pm

It took 2 days cuz you left them all out in partal shade hahaha

  25. @AH-td2ho on November 13, 2024 at 1:07 pm

I believe my power bank is best as it has a hand crank generator that generates 150wh

  26. @christiansmith4152 on November 13, 2024 at 1:07 pm

Two days and still can’t charge your phone fully, ? Why, are we not able to make better?

  27. @Gandalf22476 on November 13, 2024 at 1:07 pm

Okay. Now, what is that in Freedom Android units?

damn which cheaper one should i get

  30. @icam3 on November 13, 2024 at 1:11 pm

    Thought this was Daxflame

  31. @Min4Mass on November 13, 2024 at 1:12 pm

Two days to charge up half my phone battery? I think in an emergency I’ll rely on something else. haha

  32. @OmniShadesGaming on November 13, 2024 at 1:12 pm

Why are you testing these indoors and showing how inefficient indoor light is instead of when they are outside?

  33. @johndii2194 on November 13, 2024 at 1:14 pm

    Those are toy solar panels.

  34. @AlOh-2 on November 13, 2024 at 1:16 pm

    2 days to change 1 iPhone to 60% 😮

  35. @romanianguy20 on November 13, 2024 at 1:17 pm

    Wow those are trash

  36. @GeoFry3 on November 13, 2024 at 1:18 pm

They aren’t big enough for daily use, but they are great for emergency power.

Stick it in a window, and when the lights go out, you can grab it.

  37. @ghostwriterinme5050 on November 13, 2024 at 1:20 pm

Very impressive review, I based my purchase on your very impressive honest review. Thank you!

  38. @landonferguson7282 on November 13, 2024 at 1:20 pm

I’ve always thought that these type of power banks aren’t good because the solar panel creates heat, and that heat then goes to the battery. I don’t like the idea of batteries being as hot as a solar panel can get.

  39. @FenuxFaraon on November 13, 2024 at 1:20 pm

2 days fro 60% ??? BRUH.. Wheres the trash hh

  40. @PeterShipley1 on November 13, 2024 at 1:21 pm

the problem is the heat up in the Sun and your battery monitoring the circuitry will inhibit.

plus you’re not going to get much power at all what are the four by six inch panel

  41. @DaraPark on November 13, 2024 at 1:22 pm

    so 67% for 2 days??

  42. @lancealderman2755 on November 13, 2024 at 1:23 pm

Maybe the direct sunlight hitting it is causing the bms to know the battery is too hot and stops charging.
Because as it is these are horrible results…

  43. @ItsWesSmithYo on November 13, 2024 at 1:25 pm

Nice short…as for the tech 😂 2 days, 30 min charge lolz…IJK 🖤 stay curious

  44. @lurkingarachnid7475 on November 13, 2024 at 1:25 pm

Not a good idea, battery hates heat, but solar needs the sun

  45. @botenjohn1752 on November 13, 2024 at 1:25 pm

Damn, two days and unable to charge iPhone once. Holy cow

  46. @KalpeshPatel78 on November 13, 2024 at 1:28 pm

I got one of those cheaper single solar cell ones from a friend as a gift, since I’m always hiking and traveling. But those things barely give me 10-15% charge on an iPhone 13. I just got a heavy duty Ambrane 50,000 mAH battery bank for it. Its heavy, but lasts a few days charging my phone, a few lights, a small fan and my camera battery if I’m carrying a camera.

  47. @ulogy on November 13, 2024 at 1:28 pm

Ah yes, lithium cells, notoriously fond of the direct heat of the sun

  48. @johannesdolch on November 13, 2024 at 1:28 pm

This is not a good idea. Get one of the foldout dedicated panels and a separate powerbank. I can charge my phone in 2 hours with the BigBlue 28W

  49. @worldcomicsreview354 on November 13, 2024 at 1:29 pm

I don’t think Anker even makes that one any more. The single solar panel is too feeble to really charge it significantly, and leaving it in the hot sun probably does more harm than good to the rest of the battery. I DO like it’s stong casing and rubberised edges, it’s my "carry everywhere" battery because I know it’ll take the knocks.
