I went with 24 FHD (1.9K) an unbeatable value
for monitors 1080p is the #1 most common res. worldwide
    esports professionals prefer this size
larger than phone, tablet, portable monitor, laptop
    thin, lightweight, energy efficient

Which 4K monitor would you buy to go with the Mac Mini? I’m looking for the best with a high refresh rate that works best with Mac Mini. Several options would be nice. (if you have a time to make a video on this)

  4. @kiandepro4944 on November 13, 2024 at 12:16 pm

    is a 27" 4k 60hz monitor a waste?

…. I just bought an 85" tv for my Xbox… For $549… Some of you cry about minimum wage but spend 2000 of your tax return on this junk…. Truly obsolete.

I’m looking for one for primarily Xbox X running MSFS single panel(would love a 3 panel cockpit setup but not in my near future). Thinking about a curved 21:9 (27"-34") . They seem like a tiny bit of 3D. May use it as a monitor for my old windows 7 desktop too . Thanks for "monitoring the situation" for us.😅

  11. @Yotoyou7 on November 13, 2024 at 12:25 pm

What do u think about these stats:

1080p 24”/1440p 27”, 120hz/144hz, good viewing angles, decent coloring, hight and tilt adjustment, ips MiniLcd panel

I want to know what you would recommend I change to get a good monitor for around 100€

    I would really appreciate

  12. @noelheesen on November 13, 2024 at 12:26 pm

Honestly, any new monitor should have at least 10bit color, once you get used to that you can’t go back to 8bit (just like the refresh rate I guess).

I wish Dell would up the 43" UltraSharp 16:9 monitor from 60hz to 120hz or more. Of course, then they would add $500 to the price………..

  18. @lenochka2221 on November 13, 2024 at 12:33 pm

Please advice which is best for reading, writing, with matte screen, easy on the eyes. I have Sony LCD but it is old. Mostly I need it for text. I write and read all day. Good quality photos is a plus. Do not game at all. But watch videos. Thank you!

  24. @hagbard72 on November 13, 2024 at 12:38 pm

How about using a 43" 4K TV as a monitor? Seem to be a lot cheaper for what you get. The issue I see is flicker, which I cannot take even a little bit of.

  29. @theshadowking3198 on November 13, 2024 at 12:44 pm

I wonder why don’t you have your videos in 16:9 aspect ratio

  30. @jackwilson5542 on November 13, 2024 at 12:45 pm

I am getting a 144hz, 1440p 27 inch (flat) VA monitor soon. (Replacing my very old 21.5 inch 60hz 1080p ips) Contrast is what matters to me. Would get an OLED but those are expensive. (This one is $300, whereas same spec OLED is $1000+) Already got OLED on my phone and tablet and the IPS low contrast makes me sick. HDR is really about contrast/10 bit color, not brightness.

Wow. Thank you. One stop primer on monitor buying.

  38. @JoeOutdoors on November 13, 2024 at 12:59 pm

Don’t waste your time buying a big screen monitor if you do anything productive on the net. It is being optimized for cell phones and us COMPUTER USERS with 32" monitors are getting about 40% of the screen used.
What could be twenty lines of text across my screen is a page and a half scroll I wait for while it loads.

The world has gone stupid over phones. Some WEBSITES REQUIRE you have a phone to access it on your computer.
Then there is page loading, why do I have to wait for the page to download as I scroll down? Saving data for phone users and making computer users wait . . .
That makes as much sense as a guy stuffing a tampon in his butt and saying he is menstruating.

Best is waiting your turn in the phonebooth, er, I mean the bathroom at work.
No sounds of plop, plop, no sound of wiping, no pull pants up, no deposit, no flush and best of all no washing the hands. Straight to the lunch that was warming up in the breakroom.

Even YT has has 10" of white wasted space, 5" on each side of the page.

    Hope your voice has recovered.

I am looking for advise so please if anyone that knows about this subject please comment I want to read peoples opinions. I am interested in buying a monitor, specifically I am interested in the Samsung M8 or M7, its main purpose is to connect it to my MacBook (M2 2022) so I can use it as an office monitor or for colleague work or even just for browsing YouTube, but my second interest is for gaining, I don’t play multiplayer games where accuracy and speed is vital, I am thinking of connecting it to my switch (there I play things like Zelda or Mario), our connecting to my steam deck where the most fast game would be kingdom hearts. Lastly on my Mac I would like to use PSN remote play and then connect it to the M8 or M7. I would like to know people’s opinions would this monitor be okay for my needs or do I need something different? (I like that it is also a tv with airplay most of my electronics are Apple, it being white and aesthetic plays a big role for me)
