Oura vs RingConn vs Ultrahuman | Which Smart Ring is Best?

Oura vs RingConn vs Ultrahuman | Which Smart Ring is Best?

I put RingConn, Oura Ring, and the Ultrahuman Air Ring to the test in my latest wearable comparison video. Which ring comes out on top, and which wearable tech do I recommend? Find out in this ultimate showdown of health trackers.

Iโ€™ve been wearing sleep tech for years now to monitor and track my sleep data. Itโ€™s an incredibly valuable resource as it helps me pinpoint bad versus quality sleep and how sleep is deeply connected with my daily habits, for better or worse. I can see the direct relationship between my sleep and what I eat, when I eat, when I go to bed, and consuming stimulants of any type, among other factors.

weighing the rings with a $10 kitchen scale made me laugh a little

  2. @Steve88095 on November 13, 2024 at 12:32 pm

So you donโ€™t care about your fitness with a ring? You may want to state that a few dozen more times.

  3. @EatMeatStayHealthy on November 13, 2024 at 12:34 pm

  6. @CousinRoman90 on November 13, 2024 at 12:35 pm

Is there a ring meant for tap to pay, phone shortcuts, etc instead of sleep tracking or health?

  7. @desinihilist5916 on November 13, 2024 at 12:36 pm

We need an OpenRing or similar platform. Else these will have the hardware but suddenly become unusable after 5 years because they want you toi upgrade to the latest ring.

  8. @Garnishes on November 13, 2024 at 12:38 pm

why do u only wear the smart rings at night? do u mean overnight to sleep?

  9. @QuantumTactical on November 13, 2024 at 12:38 pm

My oura has gotten beat up but I wear it all the time

  10. @kayanna418 on November 13, 2024 at 12:39 pm

  11. @virginiasenophdrn5921 on November 13, 2024 at 12:42 pm

Thank you for the helpful review!
Discount code of Oura is not working. Is this right? Actually, there’s not anywhere in the checkout that offers this discount.

have any overnight workers used any of these for sleep tracking? i know as of now oura isn’t good for us (and the subscription makes it a no go for me) but how do ringconn and ultrahuman do?

  14. @HH-CA on November 13, 2024 at 12:42 pm

RingConn of course as there will be no subscription stealing fee !!

  15. @wthomas5 on November 13, 2024 at 12:43 pm

  17. @katdjordjevic on November 13, 2024 at 12:45 pm

I don’t understand why you would only get this for sleep only. A product review would be using the whole product and all of its functions.

  22. @youredxspanktube on November 13, 2024 at 12:48 pm

Exactly why I bought the RingConn. No subscription fee and I get the data I need.

400$ and 72$ a year, what a rip off! Imagine paying for something and you still donโ€™t own it and have to pay to use it. Wow.

    Can you try Circular Ring?

  35. @joeyblue2057 on November 13, 2024 at 1:18 pm

Thank you Iโ€™ve come back to this video several times primarily because the rings cost so much money and I wanna make sure Iโ€™m doing the right thing I love the way you do it and I only want mine for sleep. I do wear my Apple Watch during the day and I donโ€™t want the interface to be all messed up. I just want to track sleep. All that being said for ultrahuman do you have a code for a discount

  36. @soplushealth on November 13, 2024 at 1:18 pm

I think you can try the soplus ring for the best value for money.

  37. @christinerichard5326 on November 13, 2024 at 1:20 pm

How accurate is Ultrahuman temperature tracking?

  38. @Kyle-l9b8u on November 13, 2024 at 1:21 pm

I tried the BKWAT ring and it helped me improve my sleep and exercise habits. The test data is very accurate and the battery lasts long!

  39. @jimbob2405 on November 13, 2024 at 1:21 pm

The fact this guy has to wear a watch on both wrists is exactly the reason why people want smart rings. Only wearing it at night is daft.

  40. @deersakamoto2167 on November 13, 2024 at 1:22 pm

The Oura Ring seems to underestimate light sleep compared to a research-grade polysomnography according to a recent study (doi: 10.3390/s24020635), so maybe you should avoid it

  41. @Meghaaru on November 13, 2024 at 1:23 pm

i tried dhyana’s smart ring 2.0 , i am really amazed with their results .I believe its the best mental health device, health tracker ring, and stress tracker ring. You must review dhyana’s ring too.

  42. @oenway on November 13, 2024 at 1:23 pm

Thank You, unfortunately i dont like watches & looking for a ring

  43. @YoDaPro on November 13, 2024 at 1:23 pm

1:50 although at first glance RingConn feels the junkiest, but I find it more comfortable for multiple reasons. In summer it’s not having full contact with your skin but importantly the noches with the sensors. It feels also more natural to grab things because it’s "flat" on your palm where you kinda edge on with a ring shape.

  44. @Joseph-ko2kl on November 13, 2024 at 1:23 pm

Not that the video is bad but hardly a true comparison. I wanted to see info to help me make a choice, happy you only wear one at night but the rest us wear it 24/7 so you gave us no idea of what each one does or does not track? I get it you are apple fanboy, again great for you but there is another choice put there would be great to know what if any non apple stuff/things/products these worked with. You didn’t totally waste 15 min of my life, but almost. Sorry it is a thimbs down from me.

  45. @jacknathan4291 on November 13, 2024 at 1:25 pm

Upvoted because you’re reviewing it while wearing a shirt.

  46. @MrJohntad on November 13, 2024 at 1:26 pm

Wow pick wich way you want to be tracked and more of your data sold and privacy taken away. Shinny things will devert your attention.

  47. @janicefoster5424 on November 13, 2024 at 1:26 pm

I bought the BKWAT smart ring, which surprised me. It has extraordinary performance and exquisite appearance at half the price. I wore it at night to test my sleep and it was great.

  48. @jeppusahn on November 13, 2024 at 1:26 pm

Was hoping since you are a doctor that this would be more of an analysis on the accuracy of the data – rather than a general product review.

As someone who wants to improve my sleep, i only really care about a data driven analysis on which product is going to provide more accurate sleep data.

Everything else is just a nice-to-have. A nice app is great but completely irrelevant if they dont track your sleep accurately.

  49. @CFC_45 on November 13, 2024 at 1:27 pm

Trying to find a good tech video in 2024 should be easy af but it’s not. It’s hard to find content that wasn’t completely made by ChatGPT. I appreciate your work and dedication! ๐Ÿซก

  50. @jtjdt on November 13, 2024 at 1:28 pm

Oura has really upped their stress detection and fitness detection. Itโ€™s totally worth it to wear it all day, especially with it measuring resilience as well. When my stress levels go up, it signals my Apollo and it turns on automatically to calm me down. โค
