Scamsung as usual. Galaxy watch have horrendous battery life so it fail in 3-5y

Not true that the Galaxy ring can only be used with Samsung phones. You just can’t use the gestures on other Android phones.
My biggest concern with a smart ring is durability. I hit my hands into things, my rings get scratched and dinged. Something i wouldnt want to risk with a $400 piece of tech. My watch is fine because not only is it bigger than a ring and more durable, its not being banged into things

What an odd shape, why would they make it concave in the outside instead of convex like every other ring. This just makes it unnecessarily uncomfortable.

Based on the notes taken on your 1k steps Apple clearly was way off the step counts. It’s clear that Apple cannot accurately track steps, sleep even the most expensive Ultra.
Thank you so much for your review. I was considering getting this ring, now I might hold off. I’m not a smartwatch wearer I have my phone for all I need. Btw, I have a Samsung S24+ so no issues with that syncing with the health app. I wanted this for sleep & it just dropped to $319. On the fence still😊

it works with any android phone, just have to have the Samsung Health app installed

If you lose the ring, you got the wrong size. Period
Let me just throw something out there as a future possibility for Samsung in case anybody ever sees this. Inductive charging. That way when you’re using your phone with the hand that your ring is on, the ring will charge through the reverse charging feature of your phone. That way the ring would never have to be taken off to charge.
As someone who works in a fresh produce department, I can’t wear any wristwatches or fitbit type gizmo’s but I can wear 1 plain ring so this will do nicely.
Are your fitness apps sharing Data?
No one said it’s supposed replace the smart watch or even track any exercises! 🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂ It’s just to monitor sleep, health and regular/minor activities!
