Do you have a video on how to setup an older router as an access point, for the common folk NOT the techs?

  13. @dglorious1269 on November 13, 2024 at 12:30 pm

Well explained. 💯 Have a question though. Which is best for just strengthening your WIFI signal upstairs in a back room and backyard? Like a plug and go? I used to have a TP Link WIFI extender I think , years ago and may still have it around here. The password for it was forgotten and that threw things off, but it used to work fine for that. Oh and modem downstairs but signal is" excellent" there.

  14. @rjholloway1997 on November 13, 2024 at 12:30 pm

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have one that says it has an ap mode, repeater mode, and router mode which would be better?

  16. @calholli on November 13, 2024 at 12:34 pm

So everyone uses the terms interchangeably.. So that means your video didn’t help at all..
because we don’t know what company is saying the term. wonderful

  17. @Genessis001 on November 13, 2024 at 12:34 pm

You just said others used the terms interchangeably to describe a booster and then show 1 version of a booster that functions also as hardwired- mesh network…then completey leave out how the booster works & what it actually IS..WTAF!! Arrrgh

  18. @ericoliver1603 on November 13, 2024 at 12:36 pm

Clear, to the point and very well explained. Definitely saving this video

  19. @joeharm8141 on November 13, 2024 at 12:38 pm

    Confusing

  20. @frequentbot6296 on November 13, 2024 at 12:39 pm

Which one does not require you to connect to a different wifi name? For example I have what I thought was a booster but I have to connect to this separately in order for it to be of use, I have some devices connected to the main router and some to the booster.

My wifi router is very far from my xbox i thought about getting a ethernet cable but i don’t have long cable around the house. Which one should i get?

  28. @bdn4306 on November 13, 2024 at 12:51 pm

My router is downstairs, and my PS4 is in my room, can I get an Ethernet cable then plug it into the booster which will be in my room?

  29. @عبداللهالمقبل-ذ2ن on November 13, 2024 at 12:52 pm

    Dear Sir,

I have one 5G router linked to 8 port switch and the 8 port already installed ethernet cables in many walls at my home, if I use multi wifi extender by connect each one with wire from same switch source is it going to be all of them basis in one wifi user and password? So I don’t need to switch in mobile phone for wifi and I don’t need my mobile phone have full disconnected signal from one extender then will try itself to search another extender signal automatic

  30. @Smiler7 on November 13, 2024 at 12:52 pm

Can you use a Powerline unit adapter to boost a repeater with a weak signal?

  31. @thegodhoward8037 on November 13, 2024 at 12:53 pm

  32. @PelicanABC-f7n on November 13, 2024 at 12:54 pm

My work & personal laptop are both 2.4 GHz bands & far away from the modem.
But wifi is very slow on work laptop, but working OK on the personal laptop.

Which device should I get to be able to work from home?
(We cannot put the work desk next to the modem so cannot connect by cable …)

    Thank you so much!

Good informing video but asking for like and subscribe is so not done in 2022. Only if you are a wannabee YouTube teen creating mediocre content, then you are allowed to the club of beggars for likes. You even ask for it twice. You are above that. If you want to be a serious channel then take your viewers serious. people are not stupid. They will hit like if they like the video and will subscribe if you offer more nice videos. Asking for it is like a child asking for candy.

  39. @jalarriusglass7370 on November 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm

Soooo get a booster then? I can’t do option one which leaves option 2 but option 3 gives me both options incase option 1 changes?
