benfei doesn’t work well guys, just bought for 1080p 100hz external monitor and peripherals. Monitor goes black whenever using keyboard or mouse.
Just blew number 5 after 4 years of constant use and abuse, I think the 14 in one Zmuipng is winner for me. Yes I bought it only for the 2 USB C ports and my 2 Samsung drives were constantly hooked to it I even played games from them and yes the heat 🙁 .

Any Recs for a 4 usb-c to 1 usb-c port hubs? I want to plug 4 seagate/western digital desktop external drives using a micro-usb-b to c cable into this…into the back of mac studio TB4 or front usb-c port.Taking up 1 port of the 4 of the mac studio or 1 from the front. I can then transfer data at 10gb/s without "slow down".
I have two dongles like these. My peeve is the build quality. Both of mine can and do break connectivity. I’m pretty sure it is not my MacBook’s fault. I feel like the cables or solders are fractured. I want to find one that works reliably and has a long life span! The second one I bought because it looked sturdy, so now I don’t trust anything and I can’t find reviewers who explicitly test for that problem.

If you care too much about power passthrough use a PD injector splitter, and plug in the hubs power with a second cable.

I think your video is amazing. I love the fact that you put real world opinion and you’red assessment of all the different options, but I have one critique, it’s great that you’ve tested each individual peripheral, and if it’s accurate in transfer, but this is a 7 in 1 and in some cases. And in all cases I have not seen you test more than one item at 1 time. Can I see the HDMI? And the usbc work at the same time, and does these 7 ones work on a phone? Have you tested these on other devices in a laptop?I need to know these other informations
I’m looking for a USB-C splitter for my Pixel 7 Pro that can connect to its USB-C port. The splitter should have two female USB-C ports: one for connecting USB-C Apple EarPods to make phone calls, and the other for charging the phone and supporting data transfer. This data transfer should enable USB debugging mode, allowing me to use the mirroring application, scrcpy. I’ve noticed that most products on Amazon only support data transfer on the port that supports audio, but not on the charging port. Can you recommend a product that meets these requirements??

I’m looking for a powered hub or dock to use with my tower PC so I can have on my desk a couple of USB A ports and a USB C port to provide charging and data transfer to my phone.
I’ve got a 100 Watt charger to power the hub through the PD USB C port they all seem to have.
Obviously, I don’t need power delivered to my PC.
Will my PC have any issue with a powered hub connected to it’s USB C all the time?
